Checker Machine manufactures a line of
Ashworth Spiral Belt Steam Ovens. These conveyor driven
direct inject steam units are stainless steel in
construction with a patented internal spray bar cleaning
system. These are driven by a computerized low
maintenance trouble free hydraulic drive. The purpose is
to cook meat, fish, poultry and other vegetable
products. They are also used for the pasteurization of
various packaged products. Standard conveyor belt widths
are 24"(600mm), 34"(865mm), and 40"(1000mm).
Typical
production capacities range from 1000 lbs per hour up to
15,000 lbs per hour. The ovens feature 304 stainless
steel construction and a special steam containment
system that minimizes steam losses out of the conveyor
openings in the box.
